HKE Society's Sree Veerendra Patil Degree College of Science, Arts & Commerce

The Hyderabad Karnataka Education (HKE) Society, a prominent educational institution in Karnataka, was established in 1958 by Late Shri. Mahadevappa Rampure. The society aims to address the higher education needs of the region, particularly in fields like medicine, engineering, pharmacy, law, education, commerce, arts, science, and other technical and skilled areas.

In its efforts to provide higher education in a historically less-developed part of the state, the society has influenced the socio-cultural, political, and economic progress of the Hyderabad-Karnataka area, which includes the districts of Gulbarga, Bidar, and Raichur. The society implements diverse development programs. Guided by democratic values, the HKE Society is managed by a board comprising a President, Secretary, and 13 other elected members. Each member of the council is described as a responsible and knowledgeable individual with a strong record of integrity.
