India's historic Gurdwara, Gurdwara Nanak Piao, is situated in north Delhi. Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh Guru, is the subject of this gurdwara sahib. In the garden where Guru Nanak Dev set up camp during his visit to Delhi in 1505, during Sultan Sikandar Lodi's rule, is now the location of Gurdwara Nanak Piao. It's located on Rana Pratap Road, sometimes referred to as GT Road or Grand Trunk Road. People are reported to have gone to the respected prophet, presenting Bhai Mardana and him priceless gifts and offerings. All of these contributions were once given to the destitute and impoverished by Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
In addition, the shrine's name comes from the fact that he used to feed and drink to the destitute. To "offer liquid to drink" is what the name "Piao" means, and it describes the water that was given to all the thirsty people that came to this temple. The well that Guru Nanak used to supply water to the shrine is still visible, as is the well that the Guru utilised. As a result, Gurdwara Nank Piao became a sacred and esteemed historical site throughout time. A proponent of harmony, peace, brotherhood, non-violence, and amity, Guru Nanak Dev. The people who bowed before him in reverence for his spiritual direction were greatly uplifted and encouraged by his sermons.
