Delhi's most revered Sikh pilgrimage place, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib has long been one of the city's main pilgrimage sites. At one point, Bangla Sahib was known as Jaisinghpura Palace because it was the mansion of 17th-century Indian monarch Raja Jai Singh. There is much religious devotion for the little Sarovar at this Delhi gurdwara among pilgrims, particularly Sikhs. It is said that a person's sins can be entirely erased by taking a holy bath in this Sarovar's water. In the same way, it's said that taking a plunge will solve any skin-related issue.
