In order to help visitors visualise and comprehend the history of the historic Salt March and the Satyagraha methodology that ultimately led to India's independence from British colonial rule, the National Salt Satyagraha Memorial Dandi Gujarat, India, is designed as an immersive journey that recreates the spirit and energy of the 1930 Dandi March led by Mahatma Gandhi and 80 of his fellow Satyagrahis. Gandhiji's birth anniversary is commemorated here since it is a historical location connected to the Gandhian philosophy. Activities include a bike and cycle march from Ahmedabad to Dandi.
