Crowds are swarming to the Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation's (CITCO) new "Pizza ATM," which makes pizzas in under three minutes. The pizza vending machine was installed sometime last month, according to CITCO officials. It is the first of its type in north India and the only working one as of right now. A comparable gadget was previously installed in a Mumbai train station.
Currently, the vending machine prepares about 100 pizzas a day on average. On weekends, there is an increase in the number to 200–300. The ATM pizzas cost around 35% cheaper than those at Pizza Hut and Domino's. For example, a medium paneer tikka pizza at Domino's costs Rs 560, but only roughly Rs 340 here.
A robotic arm picks up the pizza foundation with the required topping, bakes it, and serves it in only three minutes after a customer enters the sort of pizza he would like to have.
Regarding the location decision, CITCO officials stated that the pizza vending machine was permitted to be erected close to Sukhna Lake due to the lake's high tourist traffic and the significant need for snacks of all kinds.
