There will be over 285 stalls at the eighth edition of the Coimbatore Book Festival, which takes place from July 19 to July 28, 2024, according to District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati's announcement on Tuesday.
Book and activity stalls from all over the State will be present at the annual book festival, which is co-organized by the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association and the district administration, at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex. The festival mostly features Tamil authors and their works.
At the festival, a book drive will be there, just like last year, to raise money for government schools, institutions, and hostels. A timetable will be created and a variety of events will be planned for schoolchildren, according to the Collector.
Throughout the festival, there will also be book launches, storytelling sessions, poetry recitals, short film screenings, seminars, talks, and student literary competitions.
