Directorate of Information and Publicity

The Directorate of Information & Publicity (DIP) is entrusted with the job of informing and publicizing the programs, policies, and activities of the Government of NCT of Delhi for citizens' welfare, particularly for weaker sections of society. Its objectives are:

• provide information to the public about its policies, programs, and services that are accurate, complete, objective, timely, relevant, and understandable;
• take into account the concerns and views of the public in establishing priorities, developing policies, and implementing programs; and
• ensure that the government is visible, accessible, and answerable to the public that it serves.
