Deer Park Lake

Deer Park, also referred to as Aditya Nath Jha Deer Park, is a natural park in Delhi, named after Aditya Nath Jha, a well-known social worker. It is situated in the South Delhi neighbourhood of Hauz Khas. This location is well-liked for weekend getaways and for jogging and strolling. There are several divisions inside Deer Park, including Duck Park, picnic areas, rabbit enclosures, etc. From Safdarjung Enclave, Green Park, and Hauz Khas Village, the park is reachable. Additionally, it is connected to District Park, making it accessible from R K Puram, which is close to the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association's courts.

Deer Park, also connected to the District Park, which contains the Hauz Khas lake, and the nearby Rose Garden, forms one of the largest green spaces in New Delhi. It is also accessible from IIT Delhi and the Safdarjung Development Area. These areas are collectively referred to as "the lungs of Delhi" because they provide clean air in the otherwise polluted and busy mega-metropolis of Delhi.It is the ideal destination for nature enthusiasts because of the water body.
