Connemara Public Library

Connemara Public Library is among the nation's oldest libraries. As one of the four National Depository Libraries, it gets copies of every book, newspaper, and magazine released in India. It is situated in the Government Museum Complex, which also houses the National Art Gallery and the Government Museum, on Pantheon Road in Egmore. This has an enormous 8,50,000-book library. The majority of the books in the library are in Tamil and English. Books in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, and Bengali are also available in the library. The library has a large collection of rare books. Some of the most prestigious pieces and collections in the nation may be found in the library's centuries-old holdings.
