Chinmaya Vidyalaya

In 1953, followers of the well-known Vedanta teacher His Holiness Swami Chinmayananda founded Chinmaya Mission® in India. His vision inspired followers all over the world, who came together to establish the foundation of a spiritual renaissance movement that presently spans a wide range of spiritual, educational, and philanthropic activities, transforming thousands of lives in India and beyond. Currently, Central Chinmaya Mission Trust (CCMT) in Mumbai, India, is in charge of overseeing the Mission, which is led by His Holiness Swami Swaroopananda. The Mission has continued to spread over the world under his direction, and as of right now, it has over 300 centres.
