Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park is the largest park in Mumbai and is situated in the Dadar area of Mumbai. The 28-acre open area is well known for being the birthplace of cricket in India. Among the many sports facilities in the park are a football field, tennis court, cricket nets, and a Mallakhamba area.The east side entry, which is only for pedestrians, is the park's most noticeable entrance. At this entrance lies a bust of Meenatai Thackeray, the late wife of Bal Thackeray, the head of the Shiv Sena.
