Blinkit launches 10-minute ambulance service in Gurugram to enhance emergency medical response

Blinkit, the quick-commerce platform, has launched a 10-minute ambulance service in Gurugram to enhance emergency medical response. Initially, five ambulances are stationed across the city, each equipped with essential life-saving equipment, including oxygen cylinders, automated external defibrillators (AEDs), suction machines, monitors, stretchers, and emergency medicines. Each ambulance is staffed with a trained paramedic, a duty assistant, and a professional driver.

The service is available for a flat fee of Rs 2,000, with the primary goal of providing quick and reliable ambulance services to the public. CEO Albinder Dhindsa emphasized that the initiative prioritizes public welfare over profit. Plans are in place to expand this service to all major cities within the next two years.
