Immerse yourself in the inspiring culture, art, local food of age-old festival spirits and less-known heritage of the tribal land of the western Madhya Pradesh. Fairs are an important part of the tribal lives as they give the entire community a much-needed break from their monotonous routines. 'Bhagoria' is one such vibrant carnival which is celebrated by various tribes like Bhil and Bhilalas.
Activities:
In Bhagoria, tribal youths and girls wearing colorful traditional clothes reached dancing and singing in groups. While playing traditional musical instruments dhol, mandala, flute, thali, folk dance to its tune was seen having fun in Bhagoria. Swings, chakri, food and drink shops were decorated for entertainment here. Young men and women were seen enjoying Bhagoria by feeding betel and drinking sherbet.
