Anna Centenary Library

In honour of the 102nd birthday of the former Tamil Nadu chief minister, Dr. C N Annadurai, also known as "ANNA," a modern library known as the Anna Centenary Library (ACL) was opened on September 15, 2010. This library bears the name "Anna Centenary Library" in honour of his profound interest in books and the library. August 16, 2008 saw the laying of the foundation stone. The project was finished quickly, and on September 20, 2010, it was opened to the public.

This centrally located, air-conditioned library spans eight stories and 3,75 lakh square feet in total built-up space. Currently, it houses five lakh volumes on a variety of topics to meet the information demands of the general population, academic community, and business community. We have a Digital Library, Children's Section, Periodicals and Newspapers Section, Own Books Reading Section, Tamil Books Section, English Books Section, and Braille Section in our library. The library also features a Conference Hall that can accommodate 150 people.
