The All India Forest Sports Meet (AIFSM) is held to foster good health, team spirit, and camaraderie among the employees and officers of the forest departments, organisations, and institutions of the states, union territories, and the central government. There are usually many other sports and games offered during the All India Forest Sports Meet, such as rifle shooting, archery, track & field, and more. Forest authorities from several states can get together and share ideas and experiences at this event.
