27th edition of annual book fair by Puducherry Writers Book Society will be held from December 22 to 31

The Puducherry Writers Book Society will have its annual book fair at Vel Sokkanathan Thirumana Nilayam from December 22 to December 31. The topic of the 27th book fair is "Arivu Atram Kakkum Karuvi." About 100 publishers will be participating in the show, and 80,000 books in both Indian and foreign languages will be on display.

According to a press release from the Society, notable book publishers and distributors including The Hindu Tamil Thisai, The Hindu, Sahitya Akademy, Gowra Pathippagam, Kizhakku Pathippgam, Book World, Lotus Multi Media, Dream Ways, AAA Books, Swasam Books, and New Century Book House are taking part in the exhibition.

The event planners want to offer a 10% discount on all books bought. Additionally, purchases made by libraries and educational institutions will be eligible for a special discount. There will be about 800 kids competing in the many literary contests that are part of the fair. The victors will get gold and silver medals donated by Puducherry and Tamil Nadu benefactors.

Additionally, the event's administrators intend to commemorate ten notable individuals who have helped with previous event management.
