23rd Bharat Rangastala Mohotsav-International Theatre Festival of India 2024, will be organised in Vijayawada from February 6 to 11

According to NTR District Collector S. Dilli Rao, the 23rd Bharat Rangastala Mohotsav-International Theatre Festival of India – 2024 would take place in Vijayawada from February 6–11. According to its Director, R. Mallikarjuna Rao, the Department of Language and Culture would host the event in Tummalapalli Kalakshetram.

The Bharat Rangastala Mahotsav posters were launched here on Friday by the Collector, Joint Collector P. Sampat Kumar, Commissioner of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC), Swapnil Dinkar Pundkar, District Revenue Officer V. Srinivas Rao, and other officials.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Dilli Rao said that the National School of Drama will be presenting around 100 plays from February 1–21, chosen from all over the world, to promote theatre arts. According to Mr. Dilli Rao, the State government was also planning the Mahotsav, which would take place at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram from February 6 to February 11. He urged artists and theatergoers to join in big-time for the festivities. Mr. Mallikarjuna Rao provided information on the festival's scheduled events. The Director stated that the programmes will begin at 6 p.m.Deputy Collector Kiranmayi, Revenue Divisional Officer B.H. Bhavani Shankar, and other officers took part.
